The bedroom included very spacious. It was also furnished nicely. All staff were polite and very helpful to me.
I could hear chatter from the courtyard because people like to sit and talk there. It meant I cannot open windows without hearing them.

Acceptable Stay with Some Disappointments

room location expensive breakfast
The room's location was not ideal. People outside often sat near the window and talked early in the morning, around 7:30 am. This made it difficult to keep the window open. The breakfast was not included. I had to go to a cafe next door to the hotel, and it was expensive. I would have preferred breakfast on site.

Excellent Stay Near Local Amenities

high standard friendly staff comfortable bed
The hotel's appearance reached a very high standard. Staff members were friendly when I arrived. My upstairs room, located in the adjoining block, included really good white fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. I enjoyed ample parking .
The windows facing the car park caused noise and unpleasant smells. The bath and shower was old-fashioned and getting in and out felt a bit dangerous. Fire doors were noisy, disturbing the peace.
Dining
9/10
Dinner service was excellent. The food was of high quality and well-prepared (the desserts were great!). The restaurant features an extensive menu with various options for different dietary needs, offering a complete culinary experience.
Rooms
8/10
The room was warm and very well-equipped with modern amenities. I had plenty of space in the room. The bathroom included complimentary toiletries and a powerful hairdryer, meeting my expectations for a comfortable stay.
Location
10/10
The location is great, with easy access to many local amenities. A cafe, a farm shop, a distillery, a gift shop, and an art gallery are all situated near the hotel. Free and ample parking is available to all guests.

good quality coffee super clean room window spraying ground floor
my room was a good size with a mini bar and a large en suite. it was presented beautifully and spotlessly clean (i really appreciated the attention to detail). bottled water was complimentary. there was a variety of teas and good quality coffee.
i overheard some guests mention issues with ground floor rooms around a small courtyard. they said that opening the windows meant hearing chatter or smelling smoke (which sounds quite annoying). apparently, getting the windows power sprayed early in the morning wasn't very pleasant either.

the room was a decent size and had a mini bar.

my room was very comfortable and well equipped. the location was great with a cafe, farm shop, distillery, gift shop, and art gallery all right by the hotel. nice staff.
the shower had dangerous, very slippery tiles on the floor when wet. i needed a fridge for diabetic insulin, but there was not one in the room. mirrors were too high, not lowered to wheelchair level.
